This tour invites you to experience one of Osaka’s most charming traditions—the Shichifukujin Meguri (Seven Lucky Gods Pilgrimage). Beginning at a temple in the heart of the city, you will visit a series of historic shrines and temples, each dedicated to one of the Seven Lucky Gods: Ebisu, Daikokuten, Bishamonten, Benzaiten, Fukurokuju, Jurojin, and Hotei.
At each stop, you will receive a goshuin stamp on a special paper, gradually completing a beautiful collection that symbolizes blessings for good fortune, longevity, prosperity, and happiness. Along the way, your guide will share stories about the deities, their origins, and their role in Japanese culture.
The route is designed to be comfortably walkable, allowing you to enjoy the city’s neighborhoods and hidden corners. For those who prefer a gentler pace, rental bicycles or taxis are available to make the journey easier.
By the end of the day, you will not only have completed the pilgrimage, but also created a personal keepsake of your journey—a tangible reminder of Osaka’s spiritual traditions and your own encounter with the Seven Lucky Gods.
